What is a Rewards Link?
A Rewards Link is an easier way to share Younique with your friends, followers, and customers. The Rewards Link Owner can be either a Younique Presenter or a customer, provided that individual has created a Younique customer account. Rewards Link Owners can earn Y-CASH credit (product credit) from purchases made through that Rewards Link.

How do I earn Y-CASH credit through my Rewards Link?
A Rewards Link must first qualify in order for the Link Owner to earn Y-CASH credit. The link has 10 days to qualify, or reach 200 points. When the link reaches 200 points, the Link Owner will then earn 10% Y-CASH credit on the purchases made through the link.

How do I create a Rewards Link?
Creating a Rewards Link is as simple as selecting the Create a Rewards Link button on the Rewards Link page. The Rewards Link will be added to your list of open, active links, ready to share. You can customize the link within the list by clicking on the pencil icons next to customizable fields such as naming the Rewards Link and assigning its Owner.

Will the Rewards Link names be viewed by others? Or is it just for my own reference?
The Rewards Link name will be publicly visible. Any shoppers who use the Rewards Link will see it when checking out; it will be automatically populated at the point where you can attach a Rewards Link (formerly YOUNIQUE virtual party).  

How many points do I need to start earning Y-CASH credit?
You can start earning Y-CASH credit from your Rewards Link after reaching 200 points. Points are earned by PRS (one point per $1 USD spent). After the Rewards Link is qualified by meeting the 200 point minimum, you’ll earn Y-CASH credit at a rate of 10 percent of the total points earned (including the 200 points).

Where will people land when they click on the Rewards Link?
You have the opportunity to choose the landing page for your Rewards Link. Use the dropdown menu to choose from the following destinations: the YouniqueProducts.com homepage, the MOODSTRUCK EPIC 4D one-step fiber mascara product page, the YOUNIQUE Beauty Guide, the YOU·OLOGY landing page, and the Customer Kudos page. You can also edit the destination later, as can your Link Owner.

How long is the Rewards Link active?
A Rewards Link is active for 10 days. You can choose to end the link early from the Rewards Link box on the Rewards Link page by clicking End Link Early. Once the link expires, the person who is listed as the Link Owner will receive the Y-CASH credit if the Rewards Link has qualified. It will be applied automatically to his or her Younique account.

What happens after the Rewards Link expires?
That Rewards Link will no longer be available for shopping. If someone clicks on the link, they will be directed to your YouniqueProducts.com website and can shop but will not contribute to the rewards. Y-CASH credit is issued after a Rewards Link expires or is closed.

How do I change the Link Owner from myself to an existing customer?
The Rewards Link will default to you as the Owner when you create it. To change Ownership, select the pencil icon in the Owner field. You can select Existing Customer and start typing your customer’s name (it will pull from your customer database).

Can a customer create his or her own Rewards Link?
Yes, a customer can create a Rewards Link from a Presenter’s website, much like they could create a Virtual Party.

What happens when I select Invite New Customer?
When you select Invite New Customer, you will generate an Invite Link. Share the Invite Link with one of your friends or on social media, and Ownership of that Rewards Link will transfer to whoever clicks on the Invite Link first. Rewards Link Ownership will be set as TBD until someone claims the Invite Link.

What happens when a Rewards Link is set up as TBD?
The Younique Presenter who created the Rewards Link can start sharing it with other people to shop. This Rewards Link will start accruing points and Y-CASH credit despite not having an Owner yet. Ownership of this Rewards Link—along with any points and Y-CASH credit generated by sales through it—will transfer once someone claims the Invite Link. The Younique Presenter may claim the Y-CASH credit herself, reshare the Invite Link to a new customer, or assign the Rewards Link to an existing customer at any time, including after this Rewards Link has expired.

Can I change the Link Owner after it has been set?
No. Once the Link Owner has been assigned to an existing customer or claimed by a new customer, it cannot be changed. Link ownership of active Rewards Links can only be reassigned if the Younique Presenter is the Link Owner or if the Invite Link was never claimed by a new customer.

Once the Rewards Link has expired, the only way to change its ownership is if the Invite Link was never claimed (so the Link Owner is TBD), at which point the Younique Presenter can either claim the rewards herself, assign them to an existing customer, or resend the Invite Link to a new customer.

What does End Link Early mean?
Rewards Links will be active for 10 days. However, you can choose to expire the link before the 10-day time window by selecting End Link Early in the Rewards Link box. This will immediately expire the link and assign any Y-CASH credit that has been earned.

What happens when a new customer selects the Invite Link?
When a new customer clicks the Invite Link a Younique Presenter has shared, ownership of the Rewards Link will transfer to that new customer. When the Rewards Link expires, that person will receive the Y-CASH credit earned from sales generated by that Rewards Link.

What is an Invite Link? How does it differ from the Rewards Link?
The Invite Link is a link that a Younique Presenter can send to a new customer so that the customer can become the Link Owner of a Rewards Link. Once the invitee clicks on the Invite Link, he or she becomes the Link Owner of the Rewards Link. The Rewards Link directs those who click on it to somewhere on the Younique website; the Invite Link only leads the person who clicks on it to claim the Rewards Link ownership.

What happens if a new customer selects an Invite Link that has already been claimed?
If a new customer clicks on an Invite Link that has already been claimed, he or she will see an error message saying that the Rewards Link already has an Owner. He or she can request a new Invite Link by reaching out to the Younique Presenter.

What happens if no one claims a Rewards Link?
The Younique Presenter who created the Rewards Link will be able to reshare the Invite Link, assign the Rewards Link to an existing customer, or own the Rewards Link herself. You can reassign an unclaimed Rewards Link even after it has expired so the Y-CASH credit doesn’t go unused. If no one claims an Invite Link for its 10 days of being active, then the Rewards Link will expire.

How can I see which links are unclaimed?
You can filter all of your Rewards Links by their three statuses (active, expired, and unclaimed) by using the dropdown menu at the top of the page.
