Your uploads made through this site are governed by these terms, our general terms of use, and our privacy policy.
By posting, uploading, and/or contributing images, video, text, information and/or other types of content (“User Content”), to the Younique (“Looks”) platform, you represent, warrant, agree and promise that no User Content posted or otherwise shared by you on Younique’s website or the Younique Looks platform, violates or infringes upon the rights of any third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, personality or other personal or proprietary rights or imply any affiliation with or endorsement of you or your User Content, breaches or conflicts with any obligation or agreement, such as a confidentiality obligation, implies an affiliation with or with or an endorsement of you or your User Content by Younique or any other individual or entity without express written consent from such individual or entity, or contains libelous, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful material.
Submitting a Look also grants Younique and its affiliates unlimited license to use all media without restriction. You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Younique, and its affiliates, from and against any and all claims, losses, expenses, costs, or damages from any suit or proceeding brought by a third party for any claim including but not limited to, intellectual property infringement or violations.
Younique and its affiliates may, but have no obligation to, monitor, review or edit User Content. Younique reserves the right to delete, remove or disable User Content, for any or no reason, without prior notice to you or any third party, and in its sole discretion. Removal of any of your content from the services (by you or Younique) does not impact any rights you grant in your content. Younique is not obligated to save or store any of the content that you upload.
Please follow the guidelines outlined in order to ensure that your Look is compliant and will not be removed:
- Your Look must be created using Younique products and must list the products used. In the event that you use products from other brands, you cannot list or call attention to the other brand or products.
- You must own and be the creator of any Look that you upload.
- Your Look cannot be photoshopped or use filters.
- The model in your Look must be at least 18 years old.
- Your default content/photo must not contain product only.
- Your Look cannot consist of any material that is copyrighted or owned by another individual and/or entity.
- Your Look cannot contain inappropriate content, such as images depicting nudity, sexual content/reference, or violence.
- Your Look should not contain before and after comparisons using Younique skin care products or lash serum.
- Your Look should not make inappropriate or unfounded product claims.
- Products in your Look must be used properly according to function, e.g. eyeshadow should never be worn as lipstick.
- Your Look should not include your email address, phone number, or recruiting information.
